Our Glasgow MJDF tuition and revision course is designed to guide and support you through the MJDF examination. We aim to help you pass both Parts 1 and 2 of the MJDF and can offer you flexible study and payment options (see below).
Our two-part course runs from August to February providing tuition for candidates taking the exam cycle of part 1 in October and part 2 in February 2019.
This course begins with an induction evening on Tuesday 19 June 2018 when you’ll get to meet your tutors and begin summer ‘homework’ for the course proper.
Returning to the MJDF for Part 2?
Our tuition course for Part 1 in October was fully subscribed but we have a limited number of spaces for Part 2 tuition for the February 2019 exam.
If you have already passed Part 1 of the MJDF (or the MFDS as it is possible to convert) and have taken a break from studying you can join us for tuition beginning in January 2019 and the Part 2 mock exam day on Saturday 9 February 2019 in Glasgow.
Please register your interest or get in touch if you would like to reserve a place. Email Andrew Miller at events@fgdp-Scotland.org to book your place or if you have any questions.

Payment Options for the full Part 1 & 2 course
You can pay for the MJDF exams and tuition in a variety of ways. Tuition fees include free attendance at the Glasgow Study Day conference on Friday 7 December 2018. Study evenings, the mock exam and the Study Day qualify for up to 31 hours of verifiable Enhanced CPD/CPDA.
Option 1: Pay for your exams and tuition together in monthly instalments. Beginning in June 2018 we’ll take monthly payments of £81* over two years to cover everything. We’ll sign you up and pay for your MJDF part 1 exam and then Part 2 in 2019. If for any reason you need to delay Part 2 then you can come back and sit it any time in the next five years. *This rate based on the discount rate for Part 2.
Option 2: Pay for your exams and tuition separately. In June 2018 you can sign up for the tuition group and pay for MJDF Part 1 (£522). Then at the first study evening in August you can pay for your yearly tuition fee (£750). Once you have passed Part 1 you can then pay the Part 2 exam fee (£660*) in January 2019. *Candidates taking both part 1 and 2 receive a 10% discount on part 2 which makes this £594.
Option 3: Pay for your exams and tuition separately but split your lump sum payments further. In June 2018 sign up for the tuition group and pay for MJDF Part 1 (£522). Then at the first study evening in August you can pay for your Part 1 tuition fee (£375). Once you have passed Part 1 you can then pay for your Part 2 tuition fee (£375) in November and exam fee (£660*) in January 2019. *Candidates taking both part 1 and 2 receive a 10% discount on part 2 which makes this £594.
How does the MJDF compare to the MFDS?
Both qualifications will help you continue learning and progressing in your career. The benefits of the MJDF are that it is aimed at GDPs but on completion you can simply add the MFDS for a small fee and have both qualifications. The MJDF group ethos is one of sociability and practicality. Many of our members join the group with their friends while the rest often become friends!
